The ING US Dollar Income Fund is an open-ended unit investment trust fund (UITF) which aims to generate regular income by investing in a diversified portfolio of debt securities issued by foreign governments, corporations, financial institutions, and the Republic of the Philippines. The fund seeks to outperform its benchmark gross of fees and taxes.

The Fund aims to distribute income on a semi-annual basis. Income to be distributed includes, but is not limited to, all coupons received within the period.

In line with the Fund's new investment guidelines which became effective on March 23, 2006, the Fund's new return objective is to outperform the benchmark, the JP Morgan Emerging Markets Bond Index Global Diversified (1-5 years). Previously, the Fund’s performance was compared against the 3-month dollar time deposit rate, now with the revised investment guidelines in place, the new benchmark was applied beginning June 1, 2006.
