ING Funds Tournament

About the Tournament

The 2010 ING-PSE Equity Challenge is a 3-month team competition open to all college/university students of selected state universities and colleges, private higher education institutions and local universities and colleges in the Philippines.
ING gathers the best college students to provide them an opportunity to manage a virtual STOCK portfolio. They will try to outperform (in terms of returns) each other and the team who has the best performance (in terms of portfolio value) will win the tournament.
The tournament aims to provide college students hands-on experience in stock trading where they may apply financial theories, valuation techniques and adherence to trading rules. This experience will surely help the participants make sound investment decisions in the future.
In addition, the tournament may serve as a stepping stone of the participants in investing in the different financial markets. This is in line with the PSE’s objective of educating and helping the first-time investors in understanding how the stock market works.
